I am a 50-year-old radical hospitality giving, gleefully imperfect, knowledge and truth and exploration loving, live life to the fullest kind of Christian who has fallen deeply in love with the people and the liturgy of the Episcopalian faith. Thanks be to God!
I'm happiest while standing in the Cowlitz River fishing for whatever is running, when my backside is planted firmly on a chair in front of my sewing table. or in my Lazy Boy chair watching (un)Reality TV.
I am a freelance writer, outdoors columnist and photojournalist who loves meeting people while they are doing what they love and listening to them talk about their passions.
I WOULD LOVE for you to leave me a comment or you can send me an email.
Go now, child of God.
Choose well the road you take,
And the decisions you make.
Keep in mind always that
The God you serve
Continues to call to you,
Making you more and more every day
Into the faithful one
God wants you to be.
Thank you for a reminder of how dysfunctional we can be Kimberly!!
I was with a group struggling with problems many years ago and someone said: “We’ve been picking scabs off wounds this weekend.” I’ve remembered that phrase ever since…..we can heal, but not if we are always picking at our wounds!
A wonderful saying that I am glad to know now! I’ll be using this one some day … at least to myself, if not to someone else! 🙂
